This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the government office that created or holds the record for those actions.
Custody and Record Offices
Use the record type and custody state to choose the office. Western Regional Jail is the WVDCR facility for regional admissions, while the Cabell Sheriff handles sheriff-created material and the courts address case status.

WRJ serves five counties. For a regional-jail entry, identify the arresting agency, date, and booking number or OID when available. The research did not identify a published WRJ booking-photo request form, fee, or fixed production time.
Where to Direct a Question
These official routes cover different kinds of records and should not be treated as one combined database.
- For a current regional-jail lookup or a WVDCR booking request, use the Cabell County custody and records path.
- For a Huntington incident report, contact HPD Records through 304-696-4470.
- For a magistrate matter, contact the Cabell Magistrate Clerk at 304-526-8642 or 304-526-8644.
- For a circuit matter, contact Cabell Circuit Clerk Michael J. Woelfel at 304-526-8622.
- For a state-prison custody question, use the WVDCR prison offender search; for federal or immigration custody, use the BOP or ICE locator.
- For a warrant-status question, use the court and agency sequence described under Most Wanted Fugitives.
Cabell County’s public-record procedure is in W. Va. Code §29B-1-3. A request should be narrow enough for the custodian to identify the record and should ask whether inspection, copies, a redacted record, or a written denial is available.
